It’s been a busy year for my friend artist Zarah Hussain, most notibly the upcoming exhitition commissioned and hosted by the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, USA. It seems this is a sort of a cross between the V&A and British Museum, with a very interesting public commissioning programme.
‘Breath‘ is open from December 19th 2020 to June 2021. There are 8 new, lovely paintings, a gallery-based animation and website version as well.
No imagery until the exhibition opens, but it’s lovely.
It’s hard to believe, but we are finally at tyhe end of 2020, that means the support for Adobe Flash is actually coming to an end, so Zarah’s old animations will not work anymore. In the last 2 years, I have switched to Unity to make the new ones and while I’m not loving C#, it’s ok.
