Dob:
25th September 1968
I have been fascinated by the two disciplines
of popular science and contemporary art for many years.
My first degree was in Computer Science in 1989, after which
I started working in I.T. as a Software Engineer. From 1996
to 1999 I studied BA(Hons) Mixed Media Fine Art, while freelancing
as a software engineer and computer programmer to finance
this.
I find that my design skills and my technical database background join seamlessly to provide me with the skills to make stylish, interactive, and technically complicated content managed websites and on-line databases.
Website Designer
I combine my technical and artistic experience to build
websites for all sorts of clients. I specialise in bespoke
content management systems and membership sites, and have recently added video streaming and on-the-fly-video-conversion to my skill base. See
my full website portfolio.
Database Engineer
I also create data-based websites using MySQL and PHP; from membership sites to online TV stations, I have a large range on clients who use my databasing skills. These systems are secure, built to the customer’s specifications, and can be used from any internet computer.
See my on-line portfolio for more information.
CD Production
Using Macromedia Flash, I produce multimedia CDs and DVDs including
text, images, animations, sound and video. Click here
for more information.
Print Design
From newsletters to maps; flyers to compliment slips,
I have experience in design for print.
Artistic Production
I have a studio in Waltham Forest where I pursue my artistic
practice. I also produce an annual art event with my partner;
the E17 Art Trail is a network of local artists. See www.e17arttrail.co.uk
