Well hello there, exciting news about our next gig and the famous 100 club in London on 21st June, which is a Saturday night, it will definately be a great event so you should get tickets in advance to ensure you get in, and you should probably get them from HERE, With Thunderclap Newman + Very Special Guests, whom we aren't aloud to mention in writing. Thanks to Ross Shaw at JMG for lovely posters.

Happy new year! I know its a bit late for that but anyway, thanks to the good people who came to the gig at the Cross Kings last week, was a really fun night, not your usual run-of-the-mill-lots-of-samey-bands-type-things. So we owe thanks to the boys and girls of Dear Thief for organising a great evening of interesting music and fun.

Anyway, what you have all, been waiting for, below is a video of Junkbox playing a live session for some of their friends in their studio in Hackney Wick, London Town. Thanks to Simon Drew and Rebecca Jones for camera work. Click on the thing below to view it, or, if you dont have quicktime you might want to watch it on You Tube instead.

Thanks to the people who came and saw and supported us at China White's on Monday, we had a supprisingly good time, though we did have our set cut slightly short so that the China White all star DJs cold play their full DJ set, which I'm sure they got played plenty of money to do, and what did we get eh? naff all as usual, i hope nobody bankrupted themselves attempting to get drunk in there. So an extra special thanks again to all who came and supported us. Here are some photos from the night: And don't forget this Tuesday we are playing The Old Blue Last.

27/10/07

Not a lot of gigs going on at the moment but junkbox will be in Manchester on Wednesday 26th July at Kloot.

Other things: Junkbox have been very busy over the last few weeks: John has been building a recording studio in Hackney Wick and producing other bands, Darren has recently hung up his tapes and gone digital and been recording some music under the alter ego "Sister Mercedes" as well as another band "Post Office" and Shoko has been doing whatever it is that she does. But all three of them have also been working, writing and recording lots of lovely new Junkbox stuff, which should see the light of day quite soon. I dont know how they manage it.
Keep at it.
