Artist Alke Schmidt had a really clear idea of what she wanted and we are both pleased with the the results.
After the impactfull splash page, the majority of the website is made up of galleries with a lightbox feature. This site is a fully bespoke system, using my own CMS for text and image management.
Built in PHP and driven by a MySQL database, this site uses by own designed and built Content Management System. A codebase I have have been developing for my clients over the last 10 years. I’m particularly happy with Alke’s site because she has such a hand in designing it, it’s a great combination of ascetics and functionality.
Unfirtunately Alke decided to move her site and this is now provided by Wix. Boo.
