As a single Dad, I have a suport bubble with friends over the road. So I took Bertha over to them saturday.
Simon had said something about wanting to engrave a chopping board.
When I got there, there was a different plan. A scavenged table was to become a chessboard. Their young son had just started playing chess. Having spent about 5 hours in total with Bertha, I was a bit worried about a big cut, but plough on.
With a quick mess about in Illustrator, we had grouped SVG, and bam. It was cutting.
5 hours, a curry, a game of chess with a 7yo, Bananaman, School of Rock and a couple of cocktails, and it’s finished.
This was 2500 speed, 50% lazer power, one pass.
