{"id":326,"date":"2020-11-22T12:15:47","date_gmt":"2020-11-22T12:15:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fluster.co.uk\/?p=326"},"modified":"2021-02-28T14:54:56","modified_gmt":"2021-02-28T14:54:56","slug":"animations-in-salem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fluster.co.uk\/wordpress\/2020\/11\/animations-in-salem\/","title":{"rendered":"Animations in Salem"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>It&#8217;s been a busy year for my friend artist <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/zarahhussain.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">Zarah Hussain<\/a>, most notibly the upcoming exhitition commissioned and hosted by the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, USA.  It seems this is a sort of a cross between the V&amp;A and British Museum, with a very interesting public commissioning programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pem.org\/exhibitions\/zarah-hussain-breath\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Breath<\/a>&#8216; is open from December 19th 2020 to June 2021. There are 8 new, lovely paintings, a gallery-based animation and website version as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No imagery until the exhibition opens, but it&#8217;s lovely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s hard to believe, but we are finally at tyhe end of 2020, that means the support for Adobe Flash is actually coming to an end, so Zarah&#8217;s old animations will not work anymore.
