Well, time passes, broken hearts heal. Today my heart is full of love that I never imagined, so much of it. And suddenly, out of nowhere My Dark Heart pops up.
It’s a project I have been mulling over since my first broken heart way back. You can read about where it was over a decade ago here.

Anyhow, it’s still a WIP, but I think I have found it’s forever form: slipcast clay, raku fired black, copper details..
Part 1 – Silicone Master Mould Mould
The idea is, plaster slipcast moulds deteriorate and are a lot of effort to make, so make a silicone master to cast plaster moulds from. I will be able to make as many as I need and the silicone should last forever. Never tried this before, using up silicone I bought for the kids!!

Part 2 – Plaster moulds
So with the silicone master, I can cast the first plaster version. So here I find out if this will work at all or not..
